Photography

Photos tell stories. Over the past year, I have realized that powerful images can make an impact. I have captured community events at the City of Northfield and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. For my friends and sorority sisters, I have taken grad photos and headshots. And, when I am on my own, I love taking photos of nature. Check out some of my work below, and send me a message if you are interested in booking a session!

Storytime with the library

Northfield’s Public Library hosts outdoor Storytime for the community throughout the summer. Here are some of the moments I captured!

Downtown Northfield

Minnesota only has blue skies and green trees for a few months. To help make the warmth last a little longer, I updated the City of Northfield’s photo stockpile with downtown shots.

Easter egg hunt

Good Shepherd’s hosts an Easter egg hunt every year. I was fortunate to cover this community event with faith, food and fun!

Things are (not) as they should be

Good Shepherd’s 2022 Lenten Theme was things are (not) as they should be. To make our photos to match our theme, I suggested making all the photos we posted and shared black and white. Here are some from events Good Shepherd hosted throughout Lent.

Campfire Worship

Good Shepherd hosted a campfire worship every Sunday evening throughout the summer. I snapped photos at each of them. These are some of my favorite moments.

UW-Madison senior shoot

When I was a senior in high school, my friend Kassidy convinced me to attend UW-Madison. Taking graduation photos with her and her friends made everything come full circle. I enjoyed celebrating with this great group of girls!

Kappa Alpha Theta headshots

I had never taken headshots before. But, when our photographer’s flight was canceled, my sorority sister asked me to step up. Here are some of the beautiful girls in Theta with me!

In the wild

From Minnesota, to Wisconsin, to Upper Michigan, I love being outside capturing nature’s beauty. Here are some of my favorite outdoor shots from the past year!
