Photos tell stories. Over the past few years, I have realized that powerful images can make an impact. I have captured community events at the City of Northfield and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. For my friends and family, I have taken grad photos and headshots. And, when I am on my own, I love taking photos of nature. Check out some of my work below and send me a message if you are interested in booking a session!
Class of 2027
Laura Albers was my second-grade teacher. I was delighted when she asked me to take her daughter, Katie’s, high school graduation pictures in 2024. I was then able to take her son, Ben’s senior photos. While we took these near my hometown in Northfield, we found new angles together.

Engagement Photos
Payton and Cameron are two dear friends who are also in the University of Iowa Higher Education and Student Affairs MA program. When they got engaged, they called me, and we immediately got to work. We took these photos near their apartment. I love how they turned out, as their love shines through.

Iowa Grads 2026
As a huge Hawkeye fan, I had a great time taking graduation photos at the University of Iowa. I had two sessions: one with two undergraduates, Lauren and Hayley, and another with a graduate student, Emily. We had a great time capturing this milestone in their educational journeys.

Class of 2025
It was an honor taking my sister Aubry’s high school graduation photos. Aubry is always smiling — sometimes so big that her eyes close. We had a lot of fun, taking photos at multiple locations in the U.P. I am proud of Aubry, and I look forward to seeing all she accomplishes in her next chapter.

UW-Madison Grads 2023
I had the opportunity of capturing four graduates this spring: Abby, Kayleigh, Lauren, and Nick. Each brought their own personalities to the shoot, making for some fun shots.

Batter up
I had a great time capturing brothers Spencer and Tegan for their senior photos. If you are a graduating high school senior, I will be sure to capture you in your element!

Storytime with the library
Northfield’s Public Library hosts outdoor Storytime for the community throughout the summer. Here are some of the moments I captured!

Downtown Northfield
Minnesota only has blue skies and green trees for a few months. To help make the warmth last a little longer, I updated the City of Northfield’s photo stockpile with downtown shots.

Easter egg hunt
Good Shepherd’s hosts an Easter egg hunt every year. I was fortunate to cover this community event with faith, food and fun!

Things are (not) as they should be
Good Shepherd’s 2022 Lenten Theme was things are (not) as they should be. To make our photos to match our theme, I suggested making all the photos we posted and shared black and white. Here are some from events Good Shepherd hosted throughout Lent.

Campfire Worship
Good Shepherd hosted a campfire worship every Sunday evening throughout the summer. I snapped photos at each of them. These are some of my favorite moments.

UW-Madison senior shoot
When I was a senior in high school, my friend Kassidy convinced me to attend UW-Madison. Taking graduation photos with her and her friends made everything come full circle. I enjoyed celebrating with this great group of girls!

In the wild
From Minnesota, to Wisconsin, to Upper Michigan, I love being outside capturing nature’s beauty. Here are some of my favorite outdoor shots from the past year!
