I used to believed I could only cover ordinary people doing extraordinary through written stories — now I know that is far from the truth. I had the opportunity to feature people within the City of Northfield’s and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church’s community through videos, photos and social media. A few of my favorite projects are below.
Pride in the Park 2022
While I was the City of Northfield’s Communication Intern, I had the opportunity to create this video montage of Pride in the Park. This was my first time creating a video montage, and I learned the music’s importance in storytelling.
Sue and Louis Eifert’s story
This was my first time producing a video. During the week-long editing process, I learned how to navigate Adobe Premiere Pro and how to tell an inspiring story visually.
Sue and Louis Eifert are two of the 41 people served by Good Shepherd’s Home Communion Ministry. Their story highlights how God calls us to meet people where they are.
As Good Shepherd’s Media Assistant, one of my jobs is assisting the media director by updating our social media platforms. Check out Good Shepherd on social media!
